Ingredients
1. Beet root ---- 250 grams
2. Boiled potaoes ---- 1. no ( mashed )
3. Bread ---- 4 slice
4. Big onion ---- 1 no ( finely chopped )
5. salt to taste
6. ginger ---- 1 tablespoon ( finely chopped )
7. green chilli ---- 1 no ( finely chopped )
8. Red chilli powder ---- 1/2 teaspoon
9. garam masala powder ---- 1/2 teaspoon
10.Bread crumbs ---- 1/2 cup
11. maida flour ---- 2 tablespoons
12. oil
preparation method
1. Grate the beetroot and keep it aside. Then dip the bread in water and immediately remove them and squeeze it nicely and keep it ready.
2. Now take a pan and add 1 tablespoon of oil and add the chopped onions and garlic and gree chillies , then add the grated beet root and toast for 1 to 2 minutes.
3. Then add salt to taste , red chilli powder , coriander leaves and fry for 1 more minute. finally add the squeezed bread slice , boiled and mashed potatoes and mix well and put off the flame.
4. Now make lemon size balls and maida flour with a pinch of salt and water and make as a batter consistency.
5. keep the bread crumbs in a separate bowl.
6. Now heat a pan and shape the balls into required shape cutlets and dip in maida flour and coat with bread crumbs and shallow fry them.
serve this with ketchup or chutney of your choice !
