paneer paratha is a delicious dish in which the indian bread is stuffed with paneer. It is a filling and healthy dish which is usally served with Raitha or pickle.
Ingredients
for dough making
1. wheat flour ---- 3 cups
2. oil ---- 1 tablespoon
3. salt to taste
for stuffing
1. paneer ---- 100 grams
2. onion ---- 1 ( finely chopped )
3. ginger ---- 1 teaspoon ( finely grated )
4. red chilli powder ---- 1 tablespoon
5. cumin powder ---- 1 teaspoon
6. coriander leaves ---- 1 tablespoon
7. salt to taste
8. garam masala powder ---- 1/2 teaspoon
9. green chilli ---- 1 ( finely chopped )
preparation method
1. Take a bowl and add the wheat flour , salt to taste , 1 tablespoon of oil and mix well , then add little by little of water as you make chapati dough. knead it well , cover it and let it be aside for 30 minutes.
meanwhile prepare the stuffings
2. Grate the paneer , add finely chopped ginger , green chilli , onions , jeera powder , chopped coriander leaves , red chilli powder , garam masala , salt to taste and mix every thing well. stuffing for the paratha is ready.
3. now make equal size balls out of the dough.
4. Roll it out into small circle , place a tablespoon of stuffing in the centre , gather and close it from all sides.
5. Now dust wheat flour and roll it out gently with the stuffing.
6. Then heat a tava and place the rolled out paratha on it.
7. spread oil on both sides and cook both sides well until brown spots appear.
8. Repeat the same process for the rest of the dough.
serve it with curd or pickle.
