Ingredients
1. mushroom ---- 1 packet
2. small onions ---- 6 nos ( chop finely )
3. Tomato ---- 2 nos big size
4. Red chilli powder ---- 1 1/4 teaspoon
5. coriander powder ---- 1/4 teaspoon
6. salt to taste
7. grated coconut ---- 4 tablespoons
8. Roasted channadhal/pottukadali ---- 1 tablespoon
9. Roasted peanuts ---- 1 tablespoon
10. oil ---- 1 tteaspoon
11. cinnamon & cardamon ---- each 1 bit
preparation method
1. chop the mushroom and keep it aside.
2. grind roasted channadhal , peanut, grated coconut and tomatoes altogether to a smooth paste.
3. Now heat a pan with a spoon of oil and add , cinnamon & cardamom.
4. Then add chopped onions and chopped mushroom and saute for 3 to 4 minutes.
5. Then add salt to taste , coriander powder , red chilli powder and add 1/2 cup of water and allow this to boil for 3 to 4 minutes.
6. Then add the grinded ingredients and add 1 cup of water and allow this to boil for another 6 to 7 minutes.
serve this gravy for Idly , dosa , chappaties , puries or Rotis of your choice.
