chicken curry

Ingredients

1.   chicken                                                  ---- 1/2 kg
2.   curd                                                       ---- 1 cup
3.   ginger & garlic paste                               ---- 1 teaspoon
4.   garam masala  powder                           ---- 1/2 teaspoon
5.   Red  chilli powder                                 ---- 1 1/2 teaspoon
6.   Any chicken masala powder                  ---- 1/4 teaspoon ( to enrich  the taste )
7.   salt to taste
8.   oil                                                         ---- 1 teaspoon
9.   Big  onions                                            ---- 2 nos ( chop finely )
10.  Tomatoes                                             ---- 2 nos ( chop finely )

preparation  method

1.   Heat  a  kadai  with  a  spoon  of  oil  and  add  the  garam  masala  powder,    then  add  the  chopped  onions  and  saute  till  it  becomes   goldern  brown.

2.  Then  add  ginger  &  garlic  paste  and  saute  for  a  minute  then  add  chopped  tomatoes  and  washed  chicken  pieces  and  cook  this  in  high  flame  for  10 minutes (  mean while  close  this   with  a  lid )
3.   Then  add  red  chilli powder ,  chicken masala powder ,  salt to taste ,  thick  curd  and  cook  for  10  to  15 minutes   in  medium  heat.  If  you  need   you  can  also  add  little  water  to  it.
4.   When  the  gravy  is  thick  enough  then  put-off  the  flame.

serve  this  with  Roti's  Naan ,  chapaties   or  even  with  pulav's
