This is the first time i am trying veg momos . But its quite easy. I used wheat flour you can also try with maida flour.
Ingredients
1. wheat flour ---- 1 cup
2. salt to taste
3. oil ---- 2 teaspoons
for stuffing
1. finely chopped cabbage ---- 1 cup
2. finely chopped carrots ---- 1/4 cup
3. finely chopped garlic ---- 1 teaspoon
4. spring onion ---- 4 spring
5. sugar ---- 1/4 teaspoon
6. black pepper ---- 1/2 teaspoon
7. soya sauce ---- 1 teaspoon
8. salt to taste
9. oil ---- 1 teaspoon
preparation method
1. mix flour salt and oil in a bowl and add water to make a smooth dough. just like poori dough. keep it aside covered.
2. now heat a pan with oil add garlic , finely chopped white part of the spring onion. stir in high flame. Then add the chopped veggies sugar and fry in high flame for a minute.
3. Add salt , pepper , soy sauce and mix well. Lastly add finely chopped green part of the spring onion and mix for a minute in medium flame. switch off and keep it aside.
4. Then roll the dough into a thin disc. Then keep some stuffing in the middle and fold it to make momo shapes.
5. Then steam it in a steamer spaced properly for 5 minutes.
serve hot with sauce or with any hot chutney
