Ingredients
1. Grated sweet potato ---- 1 cup
2. Besan flour ---- 3/4 cup
3. Rice flour ---- 2 tablespoons
4. onion -----1 no ( chop it )
5. dried amchoor powder ---- 1/2 teaspoon
6. Red chilli powder ---- 1 teaspoon
7. Turmeric powder ---- 1/4 teaspoon
8. curry leaves few
9. salt to taste
10. oil for deep frying
Preparation Method
1. Peel and chop the onion into thin strips and keep it aside.
2. Then wash & peel and grate the sweet potato. Take a bowl and mix the flours , grated sweet potato , onion , salt , curry leaves , turmeric powder , amchur powder and red chilli powder.
3. mix well and add enough water to make a thick batter.
4. Now heat oil for deep frying . Take a small portion of besan mixture and drop them into the hot oil.
5. Deep fry the fritters until golden brown and crispy and remove from the oil.
Serve hot with tomato sauce , coffee or tea
