Ingredients
1. moongdhal ---- 1 cup
2. green chillies ---- 4 nos
3. jeera ---- 1/2 teaspoon
4. salt to taste
5. oil for frying
6. chopped small onions ---- 4 tablespoons
7. chopped curry leaves & coriander leaves few
Preparation Method
1. soak moongdhal in water for 1 hour. Then wash it and drain the excess water from it.
2. Now grind the soaked dhal along with green chillies , salt & jeera to a coarse mixer. ( do not add any water for grinding )
3. Then add the onions & curry leaves and mix with the grinded batter and make small lemon size balls out of the batter.
4. Heat a kadai with oil and deep fry the vadas.
Serve it hot with any chutney.
