Sothi

Ingredients :

1.        Thick   coconut milk                                     ---- 2 cups

2.        green chillies                                                 ---- 6 nos

3.        small   onions                                                ---- 4 nos ( chopped )

4.        garlic                                                            ---- 4 nos ( chopped )

5.       turmeric powder                                            ---- 1/4 teaspoon

6.       salt  to  taste

7.       ghee ( or  )   oil                                              ---- 1/2 teaspoon

8.       lemon juice                                                     ---- 1/2 teaspoon

9.     curry leaves , coriander leaves , mint leaves        ---- each few

10.     clove  ,  cinnamon ,  cardamom                        ---- each 1 piece

Preparation  Method

1.        Heat  a  kadai    with    ghee   or  oil    to  it ,      then  add  clove , cinnamon ,   cardamom ,   curry
           leaves ,  mint leaves ,   chopped  onions ,   garlic , &    green chillies     and  fry   till   onions  turns
           light brown.

2.       Then     add   coconut  milk ,     turmeric powder ,    salt  to  taste,     and   gently      stir     to    prevent
          curdling.      when     it   starts     to  boil     then     put-off      the   flame     and     transfer   to  a
          bowl      and   then     add     lemon    juice      and       garnish      with     coriander    leaves.

Serve     this     with    Iddiappam   

  •     I   always      like     clear    sothi  ,    so  that    I     will     stain     the     sothi     and  make  it  clear  one.
