Kara Pudina Chutney

I ngredients :

1.       pudina    leaves                                           ---- 2 teacups

2.       Tomatoes                                                    ---- 2 nos ( chopped )

3.        Tamarind                                                    ---- 1/2 pepple size

4.         small  onions                                               ----1 teacup

5.         Red    chillies                                               ---- 3 nos

6.         salt  to  taste

7.          urad dhal                                                     ---- 1 tablespoon

8.          broken channa dhal                                      ---- 1 tablespoon

9.          mustard & urad dhal                                     ---- 1 teaspoon

10.        oil                                                                  ---- 1/2 teaspoon

11.         garlic                                                            ---- 4 nos

Preparation  Method

1.         Heat       a       kadai   ,   add     1/2 teaspoon    of  oil    to  it    then   roast    red chillies ,  urad dhal
            broken channa dhal ,     each    separately ,     then    by  using  the  same    kadai   fry    pudina leaves,
             tomatoes ,   small  onions ,   &  garlic.

2.         Take      a     mixer  jar    then    add   all   roasted    ingredients     and     then   add ,    tamarind ,   salt
             to  taste ,     and   grind   this     to  a   smooth  paste.

3.          Now     heat   a  kadai     add   1  teaspoon   of   oil   to  it ,     then    add     mustard ,   urad dhal,
             then   grinded   paste      and      allow     to  boil    for   1  minute   ,    and  then  put-off    the  flame.


Serve  this  chutney   for  any type  of  dosa ,  Iddly  &  paniyaram
