Ingredients :
1. prawns ---- 200 grams
2. potatoes ---- 200 grams ( chopped into cubes )
3. fresh methi leaves / or dry methi powder ---- 1 tablespoon
4. dry red chilli powder ---- 2 tablespoons
5. jeera powder ---- 1/2 teaspoon
6. Big onions ---- 2 nos (chopped )
7. Tomatoes ---- 2 nos ( chopped )
8. capsicum ---- 1/2 nos ( chopped into cubes )
9. salt to taste
10. oil ---- 2 teaspoons
11. mustard ---- 1/4 teaspoon
12. curry leaves ---- few
13. chopped coriander leaves ---- few
Preparation Method
1. Wash and clean the prawns.
2. Heat a kadai with 2 teaspoons of oil , then add mustard , curry leaves , chopped onions , jeera powder , chilli powder , salt to taste , chopped tomatoes , methi powder , cubed potatoes , prawns and stir this in low flame for 6 to 7 mintues.
3. Then add 1 cup of water to it and close the kadai with a lid and cook for another 10 mintues.
4. Then add cubed capsicum to it and cook for 3 to 4 mintues.
5. when the prawns cook soft then finally add chopped coriander leaves and put off the flame.
This may be a great side dish .
