Ingredients :
1. Whole wheat flour ---- 1 cup
2. Salt a pinch
3. Low fat milk ---- 3 cups
4. cardamom powder a pinch
5. granulated sugar ---- 1/4 cup
6. Roasted almonds ---- 10 nos ( crushed )
7. saffron ---- 8 piece
8. oil to deep frying
Preparation Method
1. Soak saffron in 1/2 cup of milk and keep it aside .
2. Take a bowl add wheat flour a pinch of salt and knead it by using water . ( The knead dough should be like puri dough )
3. In a pan add milk and boil it , then add sugar , cardamom powder and keep it seperatly .
4. Now make small size balls out of the dough and roll it into fairly thin circles ( with your rolling pin )
5. Now heat oil in a kadai and deep fry the puris . Once its lightly brown remove and drain excess oil .
6. Now add this hot puris to the boiled & sweetened milk and pour the saffron soaked milk above it and garnish it with roasted & crushed almonds.
