Coconut Dosa



Ingredients:

1.     Rice                                                     ---- 3 cups

 2.    Red chillies                                          ---- 5 nos

 3.   Aniseeds                                              ---- 1 teaspoon

4.    Salt    to   taste

5.    Grated   coconut                                 ---- 1/2 cup

6.     Moong dhal                                       ---- 1 tablespoon

7.     Broken  channa dhal                          ---- 1 tablespoon

8.     Chopped  curry leaves                      ---- few

9.     Coriander leaves                              ---- few

10.   Oil


preparation   Method


1.      Soak    rice     for    about      2 to 3 hours.

 2.      Wash     the     rice  ,   add      red chillies ,      aniseeds,         salt to taste ,        grated coconut         and      grind      them       to     smooth     paste.

 3.      In      a        separate        bowl        soak       moong dhal          and         broken channa dhal ,        for    1/2 hour.

 4.      Then      wash      the     soaked      dhals        and        add      them     to     the      grinded        paste      and        mix       them       to       dosa        batter        consistency.

 5.       Then     add      the      chopped         coriander  leaves       and        curry leaves       to      the     batter.

 6.      Heat      a     dosa - pan       and       make     this     coconut dosa       by       adding        oil      to      it.        Serve      it        as         crispy.


 This     crispy    coconut dosa      even    attract      our   kids.    Serve    this     with     coconut chutney,      or     coriander chutney ,      or      mint chutney.
