Ingredients :
1. Multi grain wheat flour ---- 3 cups
2. carrot ---- 3 nos
3. sugar ---- a pinch
4. salt to taste
5. oil for deep frying
Preparation Method
1. Wash , peel & chop the carrots and then add little water to it , and grind them with a mixer or blender to a smooth paste. If it is not smooth paste then you can strain it using a strainer.
2. Take a bowl add 3 cups of wheat flour , salt to taste , a pinch of sugar and grinded carrot paste and prepare a thick dough for poori. Then keep it aside for 1/2 hour.
3. Then take small dough balls and roll as pooris.
4. Now heat oil in a fry pan and when smoke comes out of oil then slow down the flame and drop the rolled pooris and deep fry them in oil.
Tips
Adding a pinch of sugar to the dough makes the poori puffing up.
* while deep frying press the pooris with the ladle for few seconds ( this will also help in puffing up)
