1. vermicelli ---- 100 grams
2. Thick low fat curd ---- 2 cups
3. green chillies ---- 2 nos ( chopped )
4. salt to taste
5. Ghee ---- 1/4 teaspoon
6. Raisins ---- 10 nos
7. Mustard & urad dhal ---- 1/2 teaspoon
8. Broken channa dhal ---- 1 tablespoon
9. curry leaves / coriander leaves
Preparation Method
1. Boil 4 cups of water and add the vermicelli. cook this for 3 to 4 minutes till
it is cooked. ( it should not be over cooked . ) Then strain the vermicelli and run
it under cold water .
2. Take thick curd , chopped green chillies and salt to taste , & boiled vermicelli
in a bowl and mix it well.
3. Then heat 1/4 teaspoon of ghee in a pan and add the seasoning , when they
splutter then add them to the curd mixer.
4. Then using the same pan add raisins to it and roast them and add the
roasted raisins to the curd vermicelli.
5. Finally add the chopped coriander leaves and garnish it.
- For a change you can garnish with pomegranate or with small grapes.
- If you are not so particular about about your diet then you can use
- grated coconut also.
