Ingredients :
1. Wheat bread ---- 6 slice
2. milk ---- 2 cups
3. sugar ---- 1/3 cup
4. ghee / oil ---- for deep fry
5. chopped mixed nuts ---- 1 tablespoon
6. saffron ---- a pinch
Preparation Method
1. Boil the milk add 2 tablespoons of sugar and saffron to it and keep it aside.
2. Remove the brown slides of the bread and cut diagonally.
3. Heat a swallow pan with oil in it and deep fry the bread till golden brown.
4. Then prepare a thick sugar syrup and soak the bread pieces as you fry them , just for a minute or until you fry the next batch.
5. Arrange the soaked pieces in a plate.
6. Fry the chopped nuts in little ghee and add it over the bread pieces.
7. Now pour the boiled milk over the arranged bread. Serve chilled or warm , as per your wish.
* You can also add 1/2 teaspoon of corn flour to the milk , so that the milk will be thick & the conception of milk will be less.
* It tastes great when we add chilled milk.
* When you add milk to the bread then serve it within 10 to 15 minutes , other wise the bread will be soggy.
* Keep the bread separately and keep the milk in refrigerator , at the time of serving add milk to the bread.
