Dhal Shalna for biriyani side dish

Ingredients:
1.     Thuvar   dhal                                           ---- 50 grams
2.     Broken  channa  dhal                             ---- 50 gram
3.     Potato     ( or )   brinjal                          ---- 3 nos
4.     tomatoes    ( chopped )                         ---- 2 nos
5.     Whole  green  chillies                            ---- 4 nos
6.    Small  onion   ( chopped )                      ---- 10 nos
7.     Raw   mango  piece                              ---- 2  to  3 pieces
8.    coriander  powder                                 ---- 1/2 teaspoon
9.    Red  chilli powder                                 ---- 1 teaspoon
10.   Turmeric powder                                 ---- 1/4 teaspoon
11.    Oil                                                     ---- 1/2 teaspoon
12.    Salt  to  taste
13.    Mustard  seeds                                 ---- 1/2 teaspoon
14.    Jeera                                                ---- 1/4 teaspoon
15.    Asofotida                                         ---- 1 pinch
16.   Curry  leaves   few
17.    Coriander  leaves  few     /    chicken bone  --- 5 nos
Preparation  Method
1.      Heat   a   pressure   cooker   and   add   washed   thuvar dhal ,   broken   channa   dhal ,   water 2 cups   and   turmeric   powder    and   close   the   lid   of   the   pressure   cooker   and   put   it   in   sim   for   10 mintues   and   then   put  off   the   flame.
2.     Then   open    the   lid   of   the   cooker   and   add   chicken   bones  ,    chopped  brinjal ,    chopped   tomatoes ,   whole   green   chillies ,   coriander  powder ,   red  chilli powder ,   salt  to  taste    and   boil   it .
3.     Then   heat   separate   kadai   and   add   1 teaspoon   of   oil ,   then   add   mustard ,   jeera ,   asofotida ,   curry leaves ,   chopped   onions   and   stir   till   light   golden   brown   colour .   Then   put off   the   flame   and   add   this   to   the   boiling   shalna .
4.    Finally    add   raw   mango   pieces   and   boil   for   2 mintues   and   then   put off   the   flame   and   garnish   with   chopped   coriander   leaves .
