Ingredients:
1. Mutton ---- 200 grams
2. Small onions chopped into big pieces ---- 200 grams
3. Green chillies finely chopped ---- 10 nos
4. Turmeric powder ---- 1/4 teaspoon
5. Oil ---- 1 teaspoon
6. Curry leaves ---- few
7. Salt to taste
8. Cardamom ---- 1 nos
9. Cloves ---- 1 nos
10. Cinnamons ---- 1 nos
Preparation Method
1. Heat a pressure cooker and add 1 teaspoon of oil to it and then add cardamom, cloves, cinnamons , and curry leaves .
2. Then add the chopped onions , chopped green chillies , washed muttons , turmeric powder , salt to taste , and 8 cups of water and then close the lid of your pressure cooker and cook this in very low flame for 15 to 20 mintues.
3. After the pressure release from the pressure cooker open the lid and then again boil it ( the 8 cups of water should reduce to 4 cups of water ) still this stage boil in high flame .
This mutton stew looks watery as soup, you can serve this stew for plain white rice. This is one of the olden dish which we use to cook in our home during summer season. Especially when we have mouth soar we use to have this stew.
