I thought of doing payasam on a special day, i wanted to make something that gets ready very fast and also healthy one , but also something special . I saw a big batch of dates and i decided to go ahead with this. This become a huge hit !

Ingredients
1. Dates ---- 1 cup chopped
2. low fat milk ---- 2 cup
3. coconut milk ---- 1/4 cup
4. cashew nuts , raisins , pistas ---- each 4 nos
5. ghee ---- 1/2 teaspoon
preparation method
1. heat a pan and saute the chopped dates for 5 minutes . This process makes the dates soft.
2. Then grind the dates using little milk.
3. Now boil the milk and then add the grinded dates paste let it boil till it becomes thick.
4. Then add the coconut milk and let it to boil for another 5 minutes.
5. cool it and then Refrigerate it . at the time of serving garnish all the nuts and serve chill.
