Ingredients
1. urad dhal ---- 1 cup
2. green chillies ---- 3 nos
3. ginger ---- 1 small bit
4. salt to taste
5. finely chopped coconut bits ---- 4 to 5 tablespoons
6. pepper ---- 1 tablespoon
7. oil for frying
preparation method
1. soak urad dhal for 2 hours.
2. Then grind the dhal along with green chillies , ginger & salt by adding very little water.( the batter should be soft but not watery , should be able to make balls with free hands)
3. Then add the crushed pepper corns and chopped coconut and mix the batter.
4. Now heat a kadai with oil and fry this batter us bonda.
serve hot with coconut chutney !
