Baby Corn Manchurian

Ingredients :


For  deep    frying:

1.       Baby  corn                                           ---- 8 nos( cut into 2 inch ht and boil in microwave high
                                                                                       for 3 to 4 mts )

2.       Madia /  all purpose flour                    ---- 2 tablespoons


3.       Rice  flour                                            ---- 1 tablespoon

4.       corn flour                                            ---- 2 tablespoons

5.      salt  to  taste

6.      Red   chilli powder                                ---- 1 teaspoon

7.      pepper  powder                                     ---- 1/4 teaspoon

8.      ginger  &  garlic paste                             ---- 1/4 teaspoon

9.      oil                                                            ---- for deep frying


Others:


1.        Big  onion                                               ---- 1 nos ( cut as 1 inch size cubes )

2.        capsicum                                                 ---- 1/4 no ( cut as 1 inch size cubes )

3.        coriander  leaves                                       ---- few chopped

4.         pepper  powder                                        ---- 1/4 teaspoon

5.        chilli  sauce                                                 ---- 1/2 teaspoon

6.        soya sauce                                                  ---- 1/2 teaspoon

7.        corn flour                                                     ---- 1/2 teaspoon ( dissolve  in  1/4 cup  of water )

8.        salt   if  needed

9.        Tomato sauce                                                 ---- 1 tablespoon

Preparation  Method


1.       Take     a  bowl    mix   cooked     baby corn ,  salt  to  taste ,   red chilli powder ,  pepper powder ,

          ginger &  garlic  paste ,  Rice  flour ,   maida flour   and  corn  flour    then    add  little  water   to   this ,        the  corn   should  be   coated   well   with   this   batter.

2.       Then    heat   oil   in   the   kadai   and   deep   fry    this    corn   and   keep   it   aside.

3.       Now   heat  a  broad    pan   with   1 teaspoon   of   oil ,    then   add   onions ,  capsicum ,     and
          fry   till     onion   turns   transparent      just     1  to  2  minutes.

4.      Then     add   soya  sauce ,    chilli  sauce ,     tomato  sauce ,   pepper  powder    and   fry    for    a
          mintue      in    high   flame .

5.       Then   add   the    fried   baby  corn    and   chopped   coriander   leaves    and  mix   well.

6.       Now   add   the     corn   flour   dissolved    in   water   in  a    sprinkled   manner      and   stir   well,
           till     the      baby   corns     covered     in     this   sauce   evenly.


           Now     decorate  it   with    chopped   spring    onions       and   chopped   carrots      and       enjoy     this     as   a    starter.

       
Note

*        Here     instead   of   deep   frying    the      baby   corns       shallow      fried   it   and     used   it.


*       So     diet   conscious     may   follow      shallow    frying.
