Ingredients :
1. Besan flour ( kadali mavu in Tamil ) ---- 1 cup
2. Wheat flour ---- 1 cup
3. curd ---- 1 cup
4. salt to taste
5. Jeera powder ---- 1 teaspoon
6. methi leaves ---- 2 cups
7. Red chilli powder ---- 1 teaspoon
8. oil
Preparation Method
1. Heat a pan with 1/2 teaspoon of oil in it , then add methi leaves , salt to taste , jeera powder and fry this in low- flame for 5 mintues.
2. Then take a bowl , add wheat flour , besan flour , roasted methi leaves , red chillies powder and mix it with curd and make a smooth dough.
3. Keep the dough as such for 1/2 hour.
4. Then make into small balls and roll into chapathis.
5. Cook this besan rotis in dosa pan, spread little oil to the rotis.
6. You can serve this with any type of Raitha .
Raddish Raitha is the best combination for this Rotis.
