Curry Leaf Rice




Curry leaves contain lot of iron  and  calcium .  We use to throw down the leaves  while  eating . In  this  recipe we can  consume a lot of  curry  leaves .  

Ingredients ;
1.Boiled Rice             ---- 3 cups
2.Curry leaves           ---- 1 cup
3.Dry red chillies       ---- 3 nos
4.Urad dhal             ---- 3 teaspoons
5.Channa dhal         ---- 3 teaspoons
6.Asofotida             ---- 1 pinch
7.Salt to taste
8.Ghee or  oil          ---- 2 teaspoon
Preparation method.
1. Heat a pan and add urad dhal , channa dhal , red chillies  and  curry leaves and roast all  as dry.
2.Then make it as small size granuals by using your mixer jar ,it should be in dry form.
3.If you wish you can even store this to a bottle and you can have for 1 month of time in normal room temperature.
4.When you wants to prepare curry leaves rice , Then heat a pan  add  little oil  or ghee  to it , then add little mustard, urad dhal , channa dhal , then asofotida  and then add 3 to 4 tablespoons  of this curry leaves powder,salt  and finally add boiled rice  3 cups to it and stir for just one minute and put off the fire.
5. Now your  curry leaves rice is ready .
This goes well with papads. 
When you have this curry leaves powder in your kitchen, then within a minute you can prepare this rice
Even if unexpected guest comes to lunch we can manage with this rice..
