Ingrdients;
1. Basumathi Rice ---- 1 cup
2. sweet American corn ---- 1 cup
3. Red chilli powder ---- 1 teaspoon
4. salt to taste
5. coconut milk ---- 1/2 cup
6. ginger & garlic paste ---- 1/4 teaspoon
7. Tomatoes ---- 2 nos ( chopped )
8. small onions ---- 10 nos ( chopped )
9. oil ---- 2 tablespoons
10. garam masala powder ---- 1/4 teaspoon
11. curry leaves & coriander leaves few
12. Bay leaves ---- 1 piece
Preparation Method
1. Heat a pressure cooker and add 2 tablespoons of oil and then add garam masala powder & bay leaves.
2. Then add curry leaves , coriander leaves, chopped onions , ginger & garlic paste, chopped tomatoes , sweet corn and saute for 1 to 2 minutes.
3. Then add washed basumathi rice and saute for another 1 minute.
4. Then add salt to taste , red chilli powder , 1/2 cup of coconut milk & 1 1/2 cup of water and mix well and taste it little . If any thing is missing then add little to taste.
5. Now close the pressure cooker with the lid and pressure cook it for 2 whistle or ( cook it in very slow flame for 15 minutes ) Then put-off the flame and transfer it to a hot pack.
Serve this with any Raitha's or with any gravy.
