Don't throw the radish greens away. Radishes & their greens provide an excellent source of vitamin c . Radish leaves is good source of calcium. It contain a variety of sulfur- based chemicals. It also help to maintain a healthy gall bladder and liver, and it improves digestion.
Ingredients:
1. Raddish greens ---- 2 cups chopped
( Raddish leaves )
2. Moong dhal ---- 4 tablespoons ( soaked in water for 1/2 hour)
3. Big onion ---- 1 no ( finely chopped )
4. Grated coconut ---- 1 tablespoon
5. Mustard & urad dhal ---- 1/4 teaspoon
6. Red chilli powder ---- 1/2 teaspoon
7. Salt to taste
8. Oil ---- 1/4 teaspoon
Preparation Method
1. Heat a pan add 1/4 teaspoon of oil to it , then add mustard & urad dhal , then add chopped onions , soaked moong dhal and chopped greens , salt to taste & red chilli powder and simmer your flame and close the pan with a lid.
2. After 4 mintues then open the lid and if it is essential then sprinkle little water to till and again close the lid .
3. Wait till the greens cook soft , when it is ready then add grated coconut and put off the flame .
