Bitter gourd is good for health. Experts say they kill the worms in stomach. So do eat this vegetable once in a while to ensure good health of your family member. Children generally do not like bitter. This stuffed crispy bitter gourd attracts our children.
Ingredients
1. Bitter gourd ---- 1/4 kg
2.Cumin seeds ---- 1tablespoon
3. Red chilly ---- 2no
4. Roasted Bengal gram / pottukadalai ---- 2tablespoon
5. Dry mango powder ----1tablespoon
6. Salt to taste
7. Seasame seeds ---- 1tablespoon
8. Oil for shallow frying
9. Cheese slice ---- 6no
10. Roasted & crushed peanuts ----2 tablespoons
Preparation method
1. Wash and clean the bitter gourd into haves and remove the seeds and soak them in tamarind water adding little salt for 15 minutes.
2. Mean while heat a pan and dry roast the red chillies, sesame seeds, cumin seeds, roasted Bengal gram dhals each separately and make them into powder using the mixture jar. Then add salt to taste and dry mango powder, crushed peanuts to it and mix well.
3. Now stuff the masala powder to the bitter gourd and close the top with cheese slice and shallow fry this using little oil in a pan.
