Ingredients
1. Red chillies ---- 4 nos
2. Garlic ---- 1 whole
3. Big onion ---- 1 no ( chop finely )
4. coconut ---- 2 to 4 tablespoons
5. salt to taste
6. steamed idles ---- 10 nos
7. oil ---- 3 tablespoons
preparation method
1. Roast redchillies & garlic , then roast coconut too.
2. First grind salt , coconut & red chillies to coarse powder , then add garlic and blend well with chilli.
3. Now cube the steamed idly .
4. Heat a pan and add chopped onions and fry till it turns pink colour.
5. Then add grinded garlic powder and toss for a minute then add the cubed idlies and toss for 1 to 2 minutes.
serve this spicy poondu podi idly !
