Throughout the world moongdhal ladoo is usally prepared by fry . people often consume moongdhal ladoo as side dish . Typical moongdhal ladoo made in traditional indianstyle is quite tasty. Even though vegetarian diet is still not very popular moongdhal ladoo stands out us one of a kind. A properly cooked moong dhal ladoo is delightfully smooth.
Ingredients :
1. Yellow moong dhal / pasiparuppu ---- 1 cup
2. powdered sugar / jaggery ---- 1 cup
3. ghee ---- 1/4 cup
preparation method
1. Dry - roast yellow moong dhal till badami colour. Then cool it for some time.
2. Then grind it into a slightly coarse powder.
3. Then mix the powdered moongdhal & sugar powder and keep it aside.
4. Now heat ghee till smoke comes out of it and add the ghee into the powdered mixture and mix it with a spoon.
5. Then make small balls out of it.
6. Moongdhal ladoo is ready.
Note
you can prepare this moongdhal flour and keep it tight in a air tight container and use this for 3 to 4 months of time in room temperature.
* when you need a sweet then you can take this powder and melt ghee and prepare a quick sweet within 2 minutes.
* This is also a healthier sweet.
* Once you prepare this ladoo you can use for months by keeping this in airtight container.
