Ingredients
1. Baby potatoes ---- 1/4 kg
2. fresh methi leaves ---- 1 cup
3. Tomatoes ---- 2 nos cubed
4. Big onions ---- 2 nos cubed
5. green chillies ---- 4 nos ( slit it )
6. Turmeric powder ---- 1/4 teaspoon
7. salt to taste
8. garlic ---- 3 flaks ( crush it )
9. Red chilli powder ---- 1/2 teaspoon
10. jeera ---- 1/2 teaspoon
11. chaat masala powder ---- 1/2 teaspoon
12. oil ---- 1 tablespoon
preparation method
1. Boil the whole baby potatoes and remove the skin.
2. Now heat a broad pan and add 1/2 tablespoon of oil and add the potatoes and roast it in very low flame.
3. Mean while heat another pan and add 1/2 teaspoon of oil and add the jeera , crushed garlic , then add the chopped onions and salt to taste and fry till the onions are soft.
4. Then add fresh methi leaves and fry for 2 minutes.
5. Then add the slit green chillies , tomatoes , turmeric powder , red chilli powder and fry this for 2 more minutes.
6. Now put -off the flame and add this onion fry to the roasted potatoes and saute for 6 to 7 minutes in very low flame.
serve this as a curry for Rotis , Naan , chapatties , pooris or even as a side dish with fried Rice
