Ingredients :
1. Chicken ---- 1/2 kg
2. Big onion ---- 1 nos
3. garlic ---- 2 pod ( crushed )
4. lemon juice ---- 2 teaspoons
5. coriander powder ---- 1 teaspoon
6. mustard powder ---- 1 teaspoon
7. jeera powder ---- 1 teaspoon
8. Turmeric powder ---- 1/2 teaspoon
9. ginger paste ---- 1/2 teaspoon
10. chilli powder ---- 1 tablespoon
11. ghee ---- 1 tablespoon
12. coconut milk ---- 2 cups
13. salt to taste
Preparation Method
1. Heat ghee in a fry pan and saute onion & garlic till onion is tender.
2. Then add coriander powder , mustard powder , jeera powder , turmeric powder , ginger paste , chilli powder , salt to taste and chicken pieces and 1 cup of water and allow to boil.
3. Then add coconut milk and cook in low -flame till the chicken cooks soft . Then put-off the flame and add lemon juice.
The rich flavour of coconut milk , mustard , spices with chicken make yummy chicken malai curry.
