Baby potatoes dum aloou






Ingredients

  •  Baby potato                ----1 /2 kg
  • Jeera                            ----1 teaspoon
  • Curd                            ----1 cup
  • Tomato                        ---- 2
  • Garam Masala            ---- 1 pinch
  • Salt  to taste
  • Ghee                           ---- 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh cream                ---- 1 tsp



To grind

  • Onion                -1
  • Kashmiri chilli  -6
  • Ginger               -1 inch piece
  • Garlic                - 5 pods


preparation method

  1. Grind all the ingredient under the list to grind
  2. Boil the baby potato and peel.
  3. Fry the potatoes with ghee till golden brown
  4. In another pan add 1tsp oil fry jeera add the grinded Masala fry till the raw smell goes.
  5. Add chopped tomatoes to it and salt to taste fry till the tomatoes are soft.
  6. Add the curd and mix it well to the masala  keep the lid closed for 2min.
  7. Now add the fried baby potatoes let it boil in the gravy for 5 more min.
  8. Now top the gravy with 1tsp fresh cream / butter ( optional)
Serve  this for any  pulav , Naan, Roti's or chappathies  of your choice
