Carrot Burfi



Ingredients

carrot grated                                                ---- 1 cup
coconut grated                                             ---- 1 cup
sugar                                                            ---- 2 cup
cardamom                                                    ---- 1
ghee                                                             ---- 2 tablespoons


Preparation Method

In a heavy bottomed   pan heat ghee , coconut and carrot to it. fry until the raw smell of carrot goes away and becomes fragrant.

Then add the sugar and keep string. once starts bubbling , keep  string.  keep the flame in medium heat and stir continuously.


After  some time the mixture will start leaving the pan and thickens. Also the ghee will start to ooze. Then add cardamom powder.

pour in the greased tray. Let it become warm. cut into cubes.
