sabhudhana kesari





Ingredients

  sago                                              ---- 1/2 cup
  sugar                                             ---- 1/2 cup
  Ghee                                             ---- 4 tablespoons
  cardamon powder                         ---- a pinch
  yellow  food color                         ---- a pinch
  cashew nuts                                   ---- 4 broken
  Raisins                                          ---- 4 no

preparation  method

  Wash and soak the sago   for 3 to 4 hours.  Then  drain it using a strainer.

  Heat 1/4 teaspoon of ghee in a pan and fry the cashews and Raisins till golden brown.

  Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a pan and add the sago and saute for 3 to 4 minutes till it cooks soft.

 Now add sugar, then it will start to loosen up. keep  stirring continuously.  Add the food color and cardamon powder.

  Let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Then add the remaining ghee in intervals with constant stirring.

  once it starts to get thick and starts leave the sides of the pan add cashews and switch off.

        serve    hot    or   warm.
