Apple pickle

ingredients

1. apple                                                            ---- 2 nos
2. salt to taste
3. Red chilly powder                                         ---- 1 1/2 teaspoon
4. Asofotida  powder                                       ---- a pinch
5. mustard                                                       ---- few
6. vinegar                                                        ---- 1 tablespoon ( or ) lemon juice
7. oil                                                               ---- 2 tablespoons

preparation  method

1.  wash  &  peel  the  apple  and  pat  dry  them  and  cut  into  small  cubes.
2.  Now  heat  a  pan  with  oil  and  add  mustard  seeds  and  asofotida.
3.  Then  add  the  chopped  apples ,  salt ,  red chilly  powder ,  lemon  juice  and  mix  well   and  stir  for  5 to 6 minutes.
4.  Then  put  off  the  flame .  let  the  pickle  cool  properly.
5.  Then  transfer  to  a  clean  jar.

you  can  refrigerate  it  and  use  till  20 days.
