I saw about 10 Iddlies were lying in my kitchen shelf from the morning till evening , then I thought of doing it as masala Iddly uppuma for the dinner. That day it was my new trail reciepe and finally it came out as a good and tasty one.
Ingredients:
1. Boiled Iddlies ---- 10 nos
2. carrot ---- 1 nos ( finly chopped )
3. beans ---- 6 nos ( finly chopped )
4. big onion ---- 1 nos ( finly chopped )
5. turmeric powder ---- 1/4 teaspoon
6. channa masala powder ---- 1/4 teaspoon
7. salt to taste
8. ginger & garlic paste ---- 1/4 teaspoon
9. red chilli powder ---- 1 teaspoon
10 mustard & urad dhal ---- 1/2 teaspoon
11. broken channa dhal ---- 1 teaspoon
12. curry leaves / mint leaves / coriander leaves ---- few
13. oil ---- 2 teaspoons
14. tomatoes ---- 3 nos ( finly chopped )
Preparation Method
1. Scramble the iddies and keep it aside.
2. Now heat oil in a pan , add mustard & urad dhal , broken channa dhal , curry leaves , mint leaves and saute for a minute.
3. Then add chopped onions , ginger & garlic paste , chopped carrots & beans , tomatoes and saute for 2 to 3 minutes .
4. Then add salt to taste , turmeric powder , chilli powder , channa powder , and scrambled iddies and check it for taste , if you miss any thing then add to it and finally garnish with coriander leaves .
Serve hot with any kind of chutney or tomato thooku .
