Ingredients:
1. greens ( any variety ) ---- 3 cups
2. green chillies ---- 10 nos ( finely chopped )
3. big onions ---- 2 nos ( finely chopped )
4. Roasted peanuts ---- 1/2 cup ( crushed )
5. Basmathi Rice ---- 1 cup
6. Jeera powder ---- 1 teaspoon
7. Amjoor powder ---- 1/2 teaspoon
8. lemon juice ---- 1 teaspoon
9. salt to taste
10. oil ---- 2 tablespoons
Preparation Method
1. Heat a pressure cooker with 2 tablespoons of oil in it .
2. Then add Jeera powder , chopped onions , chillies & greens and saute for 5 minutes.
3. Then add crushed peanuts & washed rice and saute for 1 to 2 minutes.
4. Then add Amjoor powder , salt to taste and 2 cups of water to it and stir it and then close the cooker with the lid and pressure cook it for 2 whistle.
5. Then open the lid you can absorb a nice greeny aroma out of it .
Now serve this healthy green peanut Rice with any Raitha. Even you can pack this for lunch box for your children . The children who refuse to eat greens also will like this healthy pulav . Try this delicious pulav for your children.
