soya chunks fritters



soya  contain more protein than meat , milk and wheat. so i always think of different ways to make it delicious , to make my family members to eat. this dish also goes well in parties , tea time snacks and also a side dish for fried Rice.

INGREDIENTS
1.soya chunks                           --- 2 cups
2. big onion                               --- 1 ( chopped)
3.ginger garlic paste                  --- 2 teaspoons
4. coriander leaves                   --- 1 tablespoon( finely chopped)
5.spring onion                          --- 2 tablespoons(finely chopped)
6.potatoes                               --- 2nos(boiled & mashed)
7.Rice flour                             --- 1 tablespoon
8.besan(gram flour)                 --- 2 tablespoons
9.Red chilly powder                --- 2 tablespoons
10.garam masala powder        --- 1 tablespoon
11.coriander powder              --- 1 teaspoon
12.salt to taste
13.oil for deep frying

preparation method

1. Boil the water and add soya chunks cook for 5 minutes and let it cool.
2.Then wash under tap water and drain & squeeze the excess water.
3.Take a mixer jar and add soya chunks and grind like kheema.(do not grind to fine paste)
4.Take the grounded soya to a bowl and add besan flour , rice flour, onion , ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder , mashed potatoes , coriander leaves, garam masala, spring onion and salt.

5.mix well to form a nice dough. take a lemon size balls

6.Heat oil in a kadai, add the balls and fry them on low flame until golden brown.


Drain on paper napkin and serve hot with tomato sauce or green chutney.
