Ingredients
1. All purpose flour ( maida ) ---- 3 cups
2. Baking powder ---- 1/4 teaspoon
3. Dry yeast ---- 2 pinch
4. sugar ---- 1/2 teaspoon
5. salt to taste
6. garlic ---- 6 pods ( finely chopped )
preparation method
1. soak yeast in warm water for 2 minutes.
2. soak sugar in warm water seperatly for 2 minutes.
3. Now take a bowl & mix maida, salt , baking powder , soaked yeast , chopped garlic pieces , soaked sugar water and mix it evenly.
4. Then add water to the flour mixture and mix to make crumble dough , add water as needed and mix to smooth dough.
5. Knead the dough & keep it aside for 3 hours.
6. Then make it as balls and roll each ball with the rolling pin into a thin naan.
7. Heat the Tandoori oven and toast the naan without adding oil or butter.
8. Finally after roasting the naan if you wish you can brush it with the butter.
serve this hot with any gravy.
