Tamarind Dosa



Ingredients:


1.     Rice                                                   ---- 3 cups

2.     Red chillies                                        ---- 5 nos

3.     Jeera                                                 ---- 1 teaspoon

4.    Salt    to   taste

5.    Oil

6.     Tamarind                                         ---- 1 small lemon size

7.     Moong dhal                                     ---- 1 tablespoon

8.     Broken  channa dhal                        ---- 1 tablespoon

9.     Chopped  curry  leaves                   ---- few


Preparation  Method

 1.      Soak      rice        for        about       2  to   3   hours.


2.      Wash      the      rice ,        add     red chillies ,       Jeera,       salt to taste,       tamarind          and         grind      them       to        smooth paste.


3.     In      a       separate       bowl        soak       moong dhal          and        broken        channa dhal          for    1/2   hour.


4.      Then      wash      the      soaked        dhals        and        add      them      to      grinded       paste        and       mix       them       to      dosa      batter        consistency.


5.      Then       add      the      chopped     curry leaves      to     the     batter.


6.      Heat      a       dosa - pan       and       make      this      tamarind  dosa      by      adding      oil      to   it,    serve     it     hot      and       crispy.



Now      you     can     serve    this     tamarind dosa     with     coconut chutney ,     or     coriander chutney.
