Ingredients :
1. Poha / Aval ---- 1 big cup
2. Iddly batter flour ---- 2 big cups
3. chilli flakes ---- 1 teaspoon
4. jeera powder ---- 1/2 teaspoon
5. salt to taste
6. coriander leaves ---- 4 tablespoons ( chopped )
7. Big onion ---- 2 nos ( diced )
8. capsicum ---- 1/2 nos ( diced )
9. Tomato ---- 1 nos ( diced )
10. oil
Preparation Method
1. Wash the poha and make big size granuals by using the mixer jar.
2. Take a bowl , then add Iddly batter , poha granuals , chilli flakes , jeera powder , salt to taste and mix altogether well.
3. Now heat a dosa- pan and pour the batter as uttappam and sprinkle chopped coriander leaves , diced onions , diced capsicum & diced tomatoes on top of it and make crispy poha uttappams.
Serve this with sambar or any one of the kara chutney's
I served this with curry leaves chutney & puli kulambu.
