Mixed Grain Salad

This   is  very  simple   salad  and   very  easy  to  cook.

Ingredients :

1.      Mixed   grains                                          ---- 2 cups ( soaked over night  & boiled )
        (channa , white channa , chole , rajma , kidney beans , chick peas etc.)
2.      Tomato                                                    ---- 1 nos ( diced )

3.      Big onion                                                  ---- 1 nos ( diced )

4.       lemon  juice                                              ---- 1/4 teaspoon

5.       chilli powder (or ) paprika                         ---- 1/4 teaspoon

6.       pepper powder                                         ---- a pinch

7.       Amchoor powder                                      ---- a pinch

8.       chat masala powder                                   ---- a pinch

9.        salt  to  taste

10.      chopped coriander leaves                          ---- few

Preparation Method

1.       Mix  all  the  ingredients   in  a  bowl    and  taste  it,    Adjust  the  spices  as  per  your  taste.    Then   serve  it.


I    served  this  with  little  sev  and  garnished   it.

For   a  variation

You    can  also  add  2 cups  of  thick  yogurt   to    the   salad    and  make  tasty  Raita.
